During Christmas time we say hello by saying “Merry Christmas!” Can you all say Merry Christmas?

   Christmas is a very happy time of the year. During Christmas we celebrate with our friends and family.

   The holiday of Christmas is hundreds of years old! It started to celebrate the birth of Jesus! Jesus is important to many people around the world. Christmas day is on December 25th. Do you like Christmas time?

   During Christmas, we get a visit from Santa Claus. Santa Claus wears a big red and white suit, with a red and white Christmas hat. He has a big white beard and says “ho ho ho!” very happily. Can you say ho ho ho like Santa? He rides sleigh in the air that is pulled by reindeer! And he leaves us presents under the Christmas tree. Santa has been leaving Christmas presents under the tree for kids for hundreds of years! But, you need to behave well! If you want a gift from Santa, you can also write him a letter telling him what you want as a gift.

   During Christmas time, we can decorate the Christmas tree with lights and big star on the top. We will put presents under the tree and open them on Christmas morning! Christmas is a time for giving! It feels very good to give to others. Christmas is also a time to be together with family. We can have a big Christmas dinner. We can play in the snow a build a happy snow man!. We can also sing happy Christmas songs.

   Christmas is the happiest time of the year. We can eat, sing, dance, and laugh with our friends and family.
