Spring is the beginning of a year. In spring, the climate changes from cold to warm, but it often rains. Also, in spring, flowers bloom. The flowers are numerous. There are daffodils, lilacs, tulips, lilies and so on.

   My favourite kind of flowers is the cherry blossom. It is usually pink and white. Saying cherry blossom, it makes me think of hanami. It is actually the meaning of cherry blossom viewing in Japanese. It is an important symbol in Japan.

   I like cherry blossoms. And I like spring.
