I yawned and opened my eyes, the mild sunlight came in through a hole in my “house” made by stones and mud, making a light and spotting on my fur coat. In the distance, dogs were barking, as if asking for food. The smell of porridge and goat milk came into my nose, urging me to run to the dining “room”. The entire tribe gathered around the fire, sharing the food happily.
After breakfast, I led my herd of goats along the river bank. As the goats were grazing, I made a fire and cooked some shells.
I had a great lunch with cheese and shells. I caught a fish and put it in a pottery pot. I also found a nice piece of wood for counting goats. On the way I met my friends who were herding too. We went back to our house before the night came.
The dinner was fantastic. We had barbecue lamb kebabs and fried fish, together with a pot of thick porridge. An elderly wise lady told us about gods and goddesses who live on stars while we were having dinner. The stories attracted me so much that l wanted to go to the stars to take a look!
