Going somewhere is a fantastic choice on boring weekends. Since I am not interested in heavy traffic jams, I always choose to ride to a park near my house. It is called Minhang Culture Park. Relaxing myself there is a weekly routine for me. The park boasts a lot of beautiful sceneries, such as Wenxing Lake, a quiet path, a big music lawn and so on.

   Wenxin lake is as clear as a crystal. I can sometimes see lovely ducks swimming in the water. When there is no wind, the lake looks like a mirror. When the afternoon sun shines its light onto the surface of the lake, this green lake will turn into a golden one. We can also sail the boat here to the center of the lake, enjoying a better scenery.

   Behind the lake, you can take a long and quiet walk on the path, which leads to the music lawn. There are many trees on both sides of the path. The sunlight can come through the spaces of the leaves. What a beautiful scenery! If you are tired of walking, just sit on the bench, listening to the singing birds and even take a nap.

    When you finish the wonderful walk, the Music lawn is just in front of you. The Music lawn stretches as far as your eyes can see. The biggest specialty is that it is like an ocean. It’s got waves. You can run freely or sit on the grass and enjoy the sunshine. Some families set up tents for their children here. If the weather is pleasant enough, having a picnic on the grass is a good choice.

   All in all, the Minhang Culture Park is worth visiting. Welcome to Minhang. I think taking a walk in a park is amazing in spring.
