It’s early spring now, everything becomes cheerful and lively here in Shanghai, magnolia blooms at every street corner without any delay.

   However, the virus put on another round of attack unexpectedly, the city have to slow down, some communities begin to be sealed and we have to resume home-based study. Thus, how are we going to deal with our study and life without going to school?

   Fortunately, with the experience we had in 2020, the year COVID-19 outbroke, we get into the online-learning-pace rather quickly this time. My teachers have already prepared on-line courses beforehand. Although classes could only be given through Internet, they are designed as interesting and attractive as possible, which makes everyone fully involved in the classes. Every morning, we start on-line class by warm-up chatting program, we share our stay-at-home stories, the news and important events around the world. With this program, I don’t feel lonely anymore, instead, it makes us feel as close and warm as we were at school.

   While learning at home, we have more flexible spare time to arrange. From my point of view, it is a special opportunity for us to learn and develop some useful abilities and skills, such as the ability of making study plan, self-discipline and time management. Besides, we can learn to do more house chores and share family responsibilities for parents. What’s more, we can do more outdoor activities in community to strengthen our health or have more reading to enrich our mind.

   As a student, we can’t go to the first line to take part into the anti-virus campaign, but we can study hard and carefully at home, it is our own way to fight against the virus.

   I don’t know how long the period will take or how much cost we will pay, but there is one thing I believe, with our joint efforts, our city Shanghai will soon recover. I’m looking forward to the reunion moment at school!
