The Shanghai Science and Technology Museum was established in March 1996. It’s at No. 2000 Century Avenue. You can go there by Line 2. It is open during 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., from Tuesday to Sunday. Tickets for adults are 45 each, students 22, seniors 37 and free for those under 1.3 meters.
There are four floors in total. With Spectrum of Life Exhibition, Animal World Exhibition, Cradle of Designers Exhibition, Light of Wisdom Exhibition and Earth crust Exploration Exhibition on the first floor. Home on Earth Exhibition, Information Era Exhibition and World of Robots Exhibition on the second floor. Light of Exploration Exhibition, Human Beings and Health Exhibition and Space Navigation Exhibition on the third floor and a huge upper garden in the fourth floor.
There are different kinds of robots in the museum. For example, there is a robot that can compete with you in either chess or archery. Also, a robot that can draw whatever you tell him to draw. Another robot can reconstruct a scrambled Rubik’s cube.
