The British Museum was established in 1753. It first opened to the public in 1759 on the site of the current building. It is located on Great Russell Street, London. You can go there by underground or Bus No.1,8,19 and 55.It is opened during 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday to Sunday. You can either book tickets online or buy tickets at the museum.

   The British Museum is one of the world’s most famous museums. It has a history of over 200 years and it has a collection of nearly  8,000,000 objects! There are three floors in the museum. On the ground floor,you can see the fabulous art in America,Egypt,ancient Greece and Rome,Asia as well as the Middle East.On the upper floor,you can enjoy the impressing culture in many different places.There is also a special exhibition:the Joseph Hotung Great Court Gallery in Room 35. Also, don’t miss the brass plaques from Benin,which is from the Sainsbury Galleries in Room 25 on the lower floor.

   While visiting the museum, you must have been hungry.Don’t worry,there are a lot of places to eat in the museum as well.On the ground floor,there are four cafés and a pizzeria,which are in different sections.Also,the Great Court Restaurant is located on the upper floor,which can offer you a refined dining experience with a casual feel!
