Our earth was beautiful; however, today, there is more and more pollution and the environment is becoming worse and worse. Now it’s time to stop and think how we can protect our planet. Together we can make difference. Therefore, on May 4th, the foreign teachers gave the students a lecture about environment.

Firstly, the teachers showed the students pictures and videos about how beautiful our earth had been and how it looked like now to let them be aware that we have to take action to save the endangered animals and our planet because the planet has got worse and worse nowadays because of greenhouse effect, global warming, various kinds of pollution and so on .

Next, the students learnt the ways of protecting the environment and reasons, such as reducing pollution, saving energy, recycling, saving endangered animals and marine life and so on.

Then, through the games and quiz, the students learnt how to calculate our daily energy consumption and ways of sorting trash into recyclable and compost.

Finally, the students sang a song about protecting the environment and danced together. The teachers hoped that through these interesting activities, the students could know by heart what we could do every day not only on Earth Day to save our planet.
