This winter holiday, I went back to Wuhan for the Spring Festival. You wouldn’t believe that something I dreamed of happened: it snowed heavily in Wuhan. Maybe it is not a big deal for you, while it is a miracle for a girl in Shanghai, since there was no snow in Shanghai for several years.

   After 2-days’ snow, there was a thick pile of snow on the ground, which was very soft. I couldn’t help thinking of making a snowman, so I quickly went downstairs and put on my gloves. I rolled a large snowball, which was even bigger than half of me, and then I kept on rolling another small snowball. The 2 main parts of the snowman were ready. I put the smaller snowball on top of the bigger one, which was the body of the snowman. Then I thought to myself, what should I do with the eyes, nose, and mouth of the snowman? Looking around the garden, I found some small black berries dropped from the trees, which was a wonderful choice for the eyes, and there were some branches broken down by the heavy snow on the ground, I took them as the arms. Last, I asked my grandma to give me a piece of carrot as the nose.

   Ok! My 1st snowman was successfully finished, and I could see that she was smiling at me. Maybe this snowman wasn’t so beautiful, but it was an unforgettable memory in this winter holiday for me.
