As a proverb goes “A friend in need is a friend indeed.” It’s true that everyone needs friends. My best friend is Joyce. She is our monitor. We have known each other since we were 7 years old. She is tall and lovely. She has a lovely ponytail and bright eyes.

   Joyce is an optimistic girl. When I don’t do well in exams and feel disappointed, she will come and comfort me. Also she’ll help me at once. What’s more, I’m better at English and Joyce does well in Maths. So we can always help each other.

   We both like playing tennis. After school, she usually plays tennis with me when we are free. Besides, Joyce can swim well, but she can’t play the piano. This year, she wants to learn how to play the piano.

   This is Joyce, a sunny girl. We like to learn and play together. I hope our friendship will last forever.
